Tender Specification URS

Based on your own prewritten specification and design I will ad my experince and my NAT (Need Analysis Tools)

As your cleanroom specialist I will work with you to create a  solid Tender design and specification document that includes an overview of your facility and all your specific project requirements.

A detailed scope of work will be defined including all cleanroom facility integration needs such as mechanical, plumming, electrical, process piping, fire suppression/alarm systems and all other integrations.

The outcome is a solid Tender design and specification document, the so called URS.

This makes You ready to ask the suppliers for quotations.

I can suggest which suppliers to address, if this is needed.

Validation of supplier quotations

As your cleanroom design specialist I will create a Supplier Analysis Report to sort out any inconsistencies.

Understanding the differences between each supplier design concepts can significantly improve your ability to compare the suppliers “apples to apples”.

I offer a quantifiable risk assessment of your supplier bids, pointing out areas of concern (i.e., exclusions, lead times, experience, references, etc.) and rate each bid by its risk level.

This will ease the selection of the right suppliers for your cleanroom project.

Cleanroom Validation

The process of designing, building, and validation testing and certification of a cleanroom consists of five phases. They are:

  1. Design qualification,
  2. Installation qualification,
  3. Operation qualification,
  4. Performance qualification
  5. Cleanroom certification.

Each phase is consistent with implementing, designing, and testing to specific requirements.

Cleanroom Certification

Methods for evaluation and measurements for Certification are specified in ISO 14644-3. It calls for the following ten tests:

  1. Airborne particle count test
  2. Airflow test
  3. Air pressure differential test
  4. Filter leakage test
  5. Flow visualization test
  6. Airflow direction test
  7. Temperature test
  8. Humidity test
  9. Recovery test
  10. Containment leak test

Cleanrooms are validated to a required class of cleanliness that is driven by user requirements as defined in ISO 14644-1.

Once certified to a particular class, the cleanroom factors need to be monitored to ensure that parameters have not changed or drifted, and that the environment is under control.

A constant monitoring program is mandated after certification. Compliance requirements are specified in ISO 14644-2.

It is my goal as cleanroom consultant and design specialist, to continue to support your interest throughout the cleanroom project by offering my Validation services.

When monitoring and evaluating the cleanroom certification supplier, I will review your current contamination controls, develop enhanced procedures to fulfill cleanroom requirements, train personnel, and ensure that you remain ahead of problems.
